SetPoint **bleep**!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have MANY Logitech peripherals, 3 keyboards, 6 mice, 4 sets of speakers, ect.....

I really like the quality and thought put into Logitech products;that's why I always stick with Logitech.

That said, setpoint is just horrible!!!!!!!  It has never worked right on any of my 3 computers, across 3 different operating systems and with different Logitech equipment. The bad part of this is that although the equipment is really good, I can't utilize it correctly or completely because of bad software. Simply put; why do I want a nice keyboard and mouse with many programable buttons if they don't work??????  Can I get setpoint to work? any help would be nice

I have posted on here before but no response EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

This might very well be my last Logitech product due to horrible software. :smileymad:

Re: SetPoint **bleep**!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hard for anyone to comment when you give no details of the problems you encounter.

I rarely have problems with SetPoint. It does what I ask it to do, and what it says it does.

The problem is that it is a pretty lame piece of software. Very limited in what it can do. So I end up with macro software that does things that decent keyboard software should shrug off.

Re: SetPoint **bleep**!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

setpoint simply put put, just doesn't work. I have a wave keyboard and all the multimedia buttons up on top won't do what I assign them to do through setpoint. Example: I have the media player button and I want it to run a certain program when I hit it. I assign that function through setpoint and nothing happens, the button simply doesn't respond or it will still work like as default settings.

Re: SetPoint **bleep**!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That explains it a bit more. Had you said that in the first place, someone might have been able to offer advice.

Foaming at the mouth rarely elicits helpful feedback.
