After installing Setpoint 6.30.43 for my new MK700, which replaced my piece-of-trash MX5000 Desktop (the keyboard of which finally died entirely, instead of just randomly mistyping,) each time I rebooted my Win7x64 system I got a persistent window saying that Setpoint was trying to initialize Bluetooth, which in our case we have not got. Of course, that's probably because the Logitech uninstaller for the MX5000's software left stuff laying around that led Setpoint 6.30 to believe that I did have a Bluetooth dongle. Further evidence of the sloppy nature of Logitech uninstallers is given by the fact that I then uninstalled Setpoint 6.30 and tried to install Setpoint480_x64.exe, but it refused to run, saying that I had a newer version of Setpoint installed, even after I had rebooted.
I really miss Setpoint 4.80. Among other things, it let me click the wheel to enter universal mouse scroll mode; that doesn't work in Setpoint 6.30.
Is there any hope of cleaning up the mess left behind by that disaster, MX5000, enough to at least make this thing less annoying?
