This document applies only to Vista x64 systems with Logitech GamePanel software 2.00 and 2.01 installed.
-Vista x32, Windows XP, and Windows XP x64 are not affected
-Vista x64 systems with Logitech Gaming Keyboard Software v1.04 and before are not affected
We have identified a situation where some users of Vista x64 with Logitech GamePanel software v2.00 and 2.01 will experience blue screen crashes during boot. This has been identified as a problem with the Sideshow driver which is included with this software. At this point, if a user is using Vista x64 and is experiencing this issue, we recommend the user start their PC into Safe Mode and uninstall the Logitech GamePanel software. We are currently working on a new release of the software, v2.02, that will not contain the Sideshow driver for Vista x64 installs, eliminating this problem. The Sideshow driver will be reintroduced into our software once this software conflict has been addressed.
Vista x32 is not affected by this driver bug, and will continue to be offered with Sideshow drivers in the future releases.
v2.02 of the Game Panel software has now been released, and should resolve this issue for Vista x64 users. Please see the appropriate download page for your product (Under the "Support" link at the top of the page)
