Tablet Keyboard for iPad: Disconnecting problem

Howdy. I'm having some problems with my Tablet Keyboard for iPad. I bought it yesterday, and the first thing I noticed with this keyboard within the first hour of using it, is that it seems to have some connection issues. Every now and then the keyboard will stop functioning, or repeatedly enter the last character I typed. In the best cases this is a letter, but in the worst case it was the backspace button, almost completely deleting a passage I had just typed.

Whenever this happens I see the bluetooth icon blinking on my iPad 2, so it's probably trying to search for the device. I've tried recoupling it, but that didn't make the problem go away. In case you're wondering, the keyboard is right in front of the iPad.

Can this be fixed somehow?

Re: Tablet Keyboard for iPad: Disconnecting problem

Hello JoshMono,

I would suggest removing the keyboard from the ipad. Then resetting the keyboard by taking the batteries out, with the batteries out type anything on the keyboard for approx. 10-15 seconds. Put the batteries back in and re-pair the keyboard with the ipad. Also, do you have any Bluetooth devices that would cause interference near by?

Kind Regards,

Re: Tablet Keyboard for iPad: Disconnecting problem

I have a similar Problem with connecting. I've had the keypad about 3 months. More often than not when I turn it on (always next to the iPad) it connects but many of the keys are not working, usually the backspace key, and somemofmthe other characters. I've tried resetting, re connecting, making sure there are no other Bluetooth devices around, but it has no effect. It's made it a bit of a useless addition to be honest :smileysad: Any tips? Simon
