Hi
I recently bought the Ultrathin Keyboard cover and I am loving it. But, the aluminium cover is getting scratched in day to day usage. Is there a film I can buy to apply on it?

Same question - CNET review indicates that at least 1 back skin will work with an iPad 2, but that the iPad 3d gen (The New iPad) won't fit in the slot if it has a skin.
I hope there are some that are thin enough to fit with an iPad 3d gen, and that you will publicize which, to help us make the decision to buy one of these! (I really don't understand why with this and the ZAGG, there isn't an included or optional back cover. Every review I've ever seen points out what an obvious problem this is.)

Hello Logitech, I recently purchased your ultrathin keyboard, for my ipad 3, and was really disappointed with it. First and foremost, let me say that it is stylish, thin and the keyboard is great for it's size. However, your product easily opens in my hands and bag, which it a major issue. Also, it dents and scratches very easily. In fact, due to this flaw, my brand new Ipad, has a scratch on the screen. It would be nice (since you didn't include back protection) if the Ipad 3, could dock with any back cover one chose to put on their device as well.
In terms of style and convenience, you Kat's hit the mark. I'm quite sure, if you improve on these major issues, and added a row of go to keys, like some of your competitors, everyone on both sides of the fence would be happy.

A Bodyguardz skin is protecting my iPad 3. It does work with this keyboard although the aesthetics are not quite as nice since my skin is black. The retina screen is ruined with some of the screen protectors I've tried so far. Someone recommended the Klear Screen Cleaning Kit which provides a little protection. I'm trying that.
I totally agree that this keyboard is easily dented. I wish I'd gotten a skin to protect it also. Maybe Logitech will give their customers a break on replacing them when they get too banged up. (One can only hope.)

The issue with the scratches is a major concern of mine as well. I ordered this to protect it: http://www.icarbons.com/products/logitech-ultrathi

Zagg has an invisible shield that fits the ultrathin nicely and is easy to install. At the Zagg website select Invisible Shield, Other Devices, Logitech.

Just wanted to follow up and say that almost a year later, the iCarbons skin on my Ultrathin is lasting well and going strong!
