Hello chuckls,
This sounds like a power management setting or other option in the bios. If possible please try booting to clean boot mode to rule out a conflict of start up services or applications. http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/de

I have two sets of cordless keyboards, model S 510. I am using Windows 7 64-bit. I have been using one keyboard fine since day 1 of installing this OS, but the keyboard failed yesterday. I saw the low battery sign, then it failed. I tried installing two sets of batteries, and I have not been able to successfully reconnect. I tried the second keyboard without success. I tried the second USB receiver without success. What do you think is the problem?

Hello rayshadman,
Does the mouse of either set connect? If it does this would rule out the receiver. Reconnecting has to be done quickly as holding the connect button down too long will reset the connection. If possible try the keyboards on a different system . Did you install any third party software that may have affected the USB ports such as Motioninjoy ? Please find connection instructions in the link below.

Hi there,
I've had the same thing happen to me - my wireless combo keyboard just stopped working. It connects fine, the flock button works, as does the volume control wheel. user button, and scroll wheel.
I am runnin Windows 7 64bit so can't run the iTouch software.
Please help me get the keyboard running again.

Hello NRB,
Sounds like your keyboard may need to be re-encrypted please try left Ctrl + Alt +F12 and follow the on screen instructions. If this does not work for you please post the M/N and P/N from the bottom of the keyboard.

I have the same problem with S510 keyboard as described in several posts above (the media buttons work but qwrty ones - not).
The OS is Windows 7 32bit.
It connects when the setPoint 2.4 is installed. I even established secure connection but this didn't help.
I tried different versions of setpoint software (4.0 and 6.3) but this didn't solve the problem either. The 6.3 setpoint even can't find keyboard at all (it doesn't appear in the setpoint device list). Even pressing Ctrl + Alt +F12 doesn't pop up any menus on the screen. P/N is 867612-0112

Hello Cintech,
Thanks for the reply. I contacted Logitech customer service who were completely useless. The response came that my product was out of warranty, but was offered a 50% discount on purchasing a new combo. What sort of troubleshooting is that?!
As I had some important paperwork to complete, I went out and purchased a new keyboard and mouse combo, but will try the re-encrypt one day when I connect it to an old PC I have lying around.
I'm happy for your input, but not happy at all about the direct customer service e-mail support ![]()

I tried using the boot clean method provided in the knowledge-base article you referenced but that did not help. I still have to use my Wacom tablet to select some keys on the virtual keyboard to get the Logitech keyborad and mouse working. I guess I will have to get a keyboard and mouse from another supplier.

Hello ineufeld,
The Alto station is not a wireless device . It connects to the laptop via a USB cord. Please try the unit on a different laptop if possible.
