Wireless mouse+keyboard combo - I bought a new mouse

Hello, I was hoping someone could help me with this problem I have :smileyvery-happy:.

So I've had the mx700 mouse+keyboard wireless combo for a long time now.  The mouse is starting to crap out on me so I decided to buy a new one (a Razer mouse.  No problems with Logitech just wanted to try 'em out).  So anyways, when I plug in the razer mouse my logitech keyboard stops working. If I replug in the old logitech mouse, the keyboard starts working again.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Any help/suggestions would be awesome.

thanks,

Razer's own documentation state that you are to complete uninstall all enhanced mouse drivers and remove the mouse from Device Manager, before installing the Razer software.   That said, you can then "re-install" the Setpoint software "after" the Razer software is installed.

Also, Razer mice are "power hungry" and can possibly "steal" power from other USB ports.  Try different USB port?

I have a Razer Lachesis working with:

MK710 combo kit (MK700 keyboard / M510 mouse)

M505 mouse

M570 trackball

Anywhere MX mouse
