Y-RBN90 / MRCR147R Cordless Keyboard/mouse combo, NOT WORKING.

I've had this combo for a year or so now, and I just recently got a new computer. I've reinstalled the drivers (or so I thought), and nothing still seems to work. There are no more drivers available to download. I've restarted the computer. The battery light on the keyboard is not on, though it has a fresh battery and is on. The mouse also has a fresh battery, but the light is green and slowly blinking. It's plugged in, and should be charging. But yet I still can't use either of them at all! I have no idea what to do, and after scouring the forums for help, it seems like others have had this problem, with no solution. Please help!

Re: Y-RBN90 / MRCR147R Cordless Keyboard/mouse combo, NOT WORKING.

Hello prowler86,

When your Cordless Desktop Wave Pro isn't working, there is usually a connection issue. The connection between the combo and the USB mini-receiver can be lost for several reasons, such as:

  • Low batteries.
  • Moving the USB receiver from one port to another.
  • Moving the USB receiver to another computer.
  • Plugging the receiver into a USB hub or other unsupported device such as a KVM switch (NOTE: Your receiver must be plugged directly into your computer).
  • Using your wireless keyboard/mouse on metal surfaces.
  • Radio frequency (RF) interference from other sources, such as:
    • Wireless speakers
    • Computer power supplies
    • Monitors
    • Cell phones
    • Garage door openers

If the problem persist, you can purchase a new USB mini-receiver:

I hope this information helps.
