I read from an ealier post that certain receivers may work other models. But there may be compatibility issues. So basically we're looking for the receiver that supports this frequency.

I just found this compatibility matrix at http://www.rsrussia.ru/documents.php?id=131903
It mentions that these 3 receivers: C-BA4-MSE, C-BD9-Dual, C-BC7-Dual
work for the mouse M-RR63, which comes with the Y-RE20 keyboard in the combo. But it never mentions the Y-RE20 keyboard in the compatibility list. Can someone confirm if these receivers also work for the keyboard? Well, C-BD9-Dual is the original that's in the combo.

Sorry to necro a old thread but it is the closest thing I could find online with the issue that I am trying to resolve. Are there any receivers that are compatible with it besides the one that come with the keyboard?

Please provide the M/N and the P/N that should be located on the bottom of your keyboard and I will check for a compatible receiver.

Again, necroing an old thread, but if one of your logitech specialists are out there, I would still like some help. Y-RE20 is the M/N, the P/n is 867158-1100 S/N is MCT22004448. I got a unifying receiver and for some reason it STILL will not work. New batteries in it as well, unifying receiver is working for an older wireless mouse i have, but not this keyboard. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, the Cordless Freedom™ http://www.logitech.com/en-us/478/3363 is not a Unifying device, it actually predates Unifying . If you have the receiver that was included with the Cordless Freedom, I can help you connect it. The Cordless Freedom does not have software for Windows 7.
