Hello BC2007,
S510 is not a Unifying desk top set. What product do you have?
Best Regards,

It is the S 510 keyboard and mouse. On the bottom of the keyboard it says keyboard + mouse + remote, if that makes a difference, but I've never had the remote as I obtained this from someone else not a direct purchase from a store.
I never had to use the unifyer before, but since it was present on the install and showing on my programs list when I expanded the logitech header, I figured I'd give it a try.
Is there a better, more direct way to communicate with you or someone else in tech support? Quite frankly this takes far too long...

Hello BC2007,
I understand . There should be a P/N and M/N number on the bottom of the keyboard . You may want to contact Logitech Customer Care for your region via phone .

I just wanted to say that I had exactly the same problem with the the wireless s510 keyboard and mouse, an install of Windows 7 SP1 and the MotionInJoy drivers. The solution given of uninstalling the dirver and software fixed the issue. I also installed the Microsoft Update to no avail before trying this fix.
It therefore seems that this is a consistent problem.
Thanks

I am having the same trouble with the installer not detecting my unifying receiver, I have had motioninjoy installed on my computer previously, I don't know why, it never even worked right. I followed the instructions, uninstalled motioninjoy, ect. restarted, got the the part where you plug in the receiver, and.... windows reinstalled the motioninjoy drivers automatically. How do I stop it from doing that? I just took the time to take it OFF.

Got it, never mind, I had to uninstall the reinstalled motioninjoy driver, then when i plugged it in, had to hurry up and say cancel the windows update. Then it proceeded to install the logitech drivers automatically. Might be useful for other people who have tried everything and are still frustrated like I was.
