Keyboards and Keyboard/Mice Combo Sets

I have a Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard combo. I cant tell you much about it other than the model number on the bottom of the keybaord which is Y-RK49, It is pretty new, bought it new from newegg.com less than a year ago. One day, out of the blue, the FLOCK button decided to be the master mute, the media button is not the favorites button (and also just made my font in italics for some reason), volume up now pauses and plays, etc.....

I have messed with all the settings in the logitech software to no avail... nothing fixes this or works.

any help is appreciated.

I would try it on another system and see if it does the same thing. If it does your keyboard probably went bad.

Try removing the batteries and pressing some keys for 30sec (to drain any capacitors), then replace good batteries and re-sync with the receiver.

If that doesn't help, try the keyboard on another PC to make sure it is the keyboard that is the problem (not your PC). If the problem is the same on the other PC, get the keyboard replaced.

Less than 30 days since purchase, you need to exchange it where you got it.
After 30 days, you would be covered under the 3 or 5 year warranty from Logitech.
