Hello Logitech Guru.
What KVM switch works with Setpoint? I have the WAVE and the MX400
I just bought the D-Link KVM-221 and setPoint is not recognizeing the keyboard and mouse. All special functions are disabled.
Can you make a recommendation.?
Thanks.
PS. what do you think about the large delete key?

KVM switches often emulate a simple mouse/keyboard so that the PCs don't see a disconnect, which can cause problems with anything but the simplest mouse/keyboard set, so Logitech doesn't support KVM switches and other pass-thru devices.
There are USB KVM switches that just switch the connection, so the PCs just see the device unplugged and re-plugged (and take a few seconds to re-load the drivers), but even those won't necessarily work correctly with all devices.
According to this post, the TrendNet TK-209K USB KVM may work.
Another option is to share your mouse/keyboard over a network using Synergy (if you have a monitor for each computer) or share the mouse/keyboard/video with Windows Remote Desktop or VNC.

Looks like KVM switches just render high end peripherals to act like normal peripherals. No point in buying hi-tech stuff then.

I have the same problem and I must say that I'm quiet disappointed.
I bought a Uniclass KVM Switch which can handle DVI/HDMI-Signals ... that thing has cost about 200€ and now it is not working harmonically with a 40€ Logitech USB Wave keyboard ... just because the software is coded by paranoid people ...
I mean, i could have bought another monitor / keyboard / mouse for that money instead ...
thanks for that, logitech ...
you are not going to change it, aren't you?
