I am trying to install my Scanman to another laptop and I am getting an error : SETUP caused a General Protection Fault in module VER.DLL at 0003:0954

Is this because I have Windows XP instead of Windows 95 or 98? Is there an update to the installation software so I can continue to use the Scanman?

Hi myra,

The ScanMan Color 2000 is not compatible with Windows XP. I believe the last supported operating system was Windows 98.

Thank you,  it was such a help to me in my research to have a handheld scanner.  I guess I'll have to research others.  I appreciate the help.  Myra
