I was excited to receive my Logitech test product, the MK605 Logitech notebook kit & I was very keen to start playing with my new toy. But first I had to wait for the kids to go to bed or they would have wanted to play too & I can't say I blame them. The packaging is compact with enough pictures to show you exactly what you are getting inside the box & overall gives the impression of the freedom & comfort you will experience by using this product. At this point I am excited about opening the box & I am looking forward to using a full sized keyboard once again. The first thing I notice is the stylish mouse & full sized keyboard & a tiny little receiver, wow it is really small & I better plug it in before I lose it,lol.

Now I am anticipating the pivoting riser, something I have never experienced before. I am looking forward to trying it out, so off to the user manual I refer. And I am rather impressed with the stow keyboard when not in use function, it fits neatly away. Fantastic! With no previous experience I got the stand up in no time, it was too easy. I'm really impressed with the appearance of my laptop using the stand. I like it. It takes using my laptop to a whole new level.

Now I can't wait to get the keyboard & mouse open. Upon unbagging the keyboard I notice for the first time the sleek, shiny appearance. It feels really nice to touch. So smooth, flat & very light. Unlike any other keyboard I have used. As I unbag the mouse I notice with satisfaction it has the same sleek feel like the keyboard on the top, making it pleasant to touch, nice & smooth. I find that the batteries are quite awkward to install, the first minor disappointment, it is only minor though.

Now i'm ready to start using my MK605 pack. The mouse feels really comfortable in my hand, it feels really nice to use. The software was easy to download & install & I was ready to start using my notebook pack in a minute.

I really love having the keyboard on my lap without burning my legs in the process. I can also use the lounge as my mouse mat or my leg or whatever surface I want. I'm not used to having my screen so far away but I am loving the freedom of using this product. It's great, a whole new experience for me & I can't wait to see what this baby can really do. It is so versatile, I love it! And my guess is that the kids are going to love it too! I doubt that we will ever want to go back to using the laptop normally ever again.This product will be so beneficial to so many people in so many ways.

So sit back & relax, once you try this pack you will never go back!

I purchased the MK605 Mouse, Key board and Laptop stand from a local shop yesterday. After runnning into a problem, whereby using FN shortcuts on the keyboard, all the OS TEXT gets blacked out, i came online to look for a driver.

I own a few logitech products, including the Anywhere MX mouse, 5.1 speaker set and headset.

I purchased the MK605 because of the unifying receiver which already came with my Anywhere MX mouse ($129.99)

I purchsed this MK605 (Set) for $199.99 Aus. Now when i came online i saw the key board was $49.99, and the mouse seems to be a basic model. So im wondering what the RRP for the Anywhere MX mouse and the MK605 set is.

Also i resolved the blacked out text issue.

Great products though. Although im not sure smooth refliective glassy surface around the keyboard is such a good idea. Everytime i use it i leave hand prints on it and need to wipe it with a cloth.
