Disabling the throttle on the Extreme 3D Pro

The throttle on my joystick busted and is locking my power at 55-56%, regardless of how I try to override it. Does anyone know how to disable it, or even safely remove the mechanism?

Re: Disabling the throttle on the Extreme 3D Pro

Hello jimibab

If you are using the Logitech Profiler for the Extreme 3D Pro, try these steps to disable the throttle:

-Launch the Logitech Profiler (Start> All Programs>Logitech>Logitech Gaming Software)

-Click throttle then select New Axis Assignment:

-Make sure that there are no assignments for throttle forward and throttle back.

If you are not using the Logitech Profiler, then you need to check and configure the In-Game settings of the Game you play.
