G27 on Windows 8.1

I can't install the driver to make my G27 work properly on my Windows 8.1

Clutch and button doesn't work.

Is there a way to fix it?

Hi Jean8mathieu,

The G27 Racing Wheel should work as a plug and play device. The Logitech Profiler Software is usually used only to configure the wheel to work on games that don't natively support racing wheels. Try the following steps to help isolate the issue:

  • Test the functionality of the wheel in the WIndows Control Panel.
    1. Go to Control Panel.
    2. Select Devices and Printers.
    3. Right click the wheel.
    4. Click Game Controller Settings.
    5. Press CTRL+SHIFT+ Left click on Properties.
    6. Go to the Settings tab.
    7. Click Calibrate.
  • Regarding the issue with installing the software, try the following:

I guess all you people who work in the logitech support department need to do now is make a driver for windows 8.1 so that my logitech f710 can work on it. And please, in the future be prepared for other windows updates so you can make the driver in advance

Re: G27 on Windows 8.1

I also have this and many other problems, in windows 8.1 all that does is logitech indicate a driver 2010... wake logitech! we are in 2013!! overpaid in G27 to see this, pirates to update their devices, paid so dearly to see it in G27? shameful an expensive product with abandoned software! I am disappointed with the software support, so I have no way to indicate to anyone logitech :smileyfrustrated:

What about the Profiler? Installed the newest version, but the profiler won´t show up.  I need to set the wheel to 900° :mansad: which i cant without the profiler. Are you working on a solution ?

I called the logitech, reported driver and profiles problems in windows 8.1... response are waiting for microsoft update drivers native windows for generic functionality then the logitech would be updating the profiles, I have the impression that this will take most have no choice but to wait, I hope logitech microsoft piece urgency of the driver update...

I left several suggestions with the attendant logitech, improvements, features, fixes, etc...
