And one more extremely disappointed user. My Formula Force is in excellent condition. Hadn't used it for a while, wanted to install it on Windows 7 x64 and no way
This is a very nice and robust wheel that I paid more than 150 euros (equivalent) back in 2000 but it's like new. I know it's old, I read the topic but since it works on x86 I don't really see what prevents it from running on x64 except "hey it's old we don't have time to support this..".

Hi, I got the Force Feedback working with the Saitek driver... WITH FORCE FEEDBACK!
What I did:
- Install the Saitek driver as already explained
- Open regedit
- Look for all key named VID_06A3&PID_FF04 and rename them into VID_046D&PID_C291
- I had to delete one existing "VID_046D&PID_C291" key before, you'll see if a renaming fails for an existing key already have that name.

I' m ok with the Wingman Formula Force GP on Win7 x64
Just install Vista x64 edition of driver:

what happened when you did it? i uninstalled 5.10 and installed 5.02 and it sees my wingman gamepad ok but i plugged in my wingman force joystick and it does not see it. I have not pulled my wingman formula force wheel out of the box to try it yet, but the joystick should work the same.

Just wanted to let y'all know that I've been trying to make contact with the Logitech engineers to get them to create new drivers for the Wingman Formula Force (red wheel).
I think if more people voiced their complaints about, they might actually do something.
Here's the link for the support issue..Try it. It's worth a shot. http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/account/qu

I have been useing the wingman red momo wheel in windows 7 64bit O.S. since 2009.
Everything including force feedback has always worked fine in LFS. After my recent windows update. force feed back stopped working and the lights on the wheel no longer function. The wheel is still useable and adjustable in LFS. the logitech profiler still works fine. and the settings in it for force feed back have not been altered. The only discriminating thing I can find is my wheel is being seen as HID-compliant game controller microsoft driver version 6.1 7601.17514. Manufacturer (standard system device) location on USB Input Device
any thoughts out there would be appreciated.

Hi DiemoZ, this thread is for the NOT-GP older version of the red Wingman Formula Force, the E-UA2. You GP is a E-UD4
Anyway, the way to make it work under Win7 x64 is:
- Download the Saitek R440 x64 driver ftp://ftp.saitek.com/pub/software/full/Saitek_R440
- Unpack it
- Replace Saitek_R440_Force_Wheel_SD6_64\FF04\SaiFF0
- Plug your wheel, tell Windows to use the driver in this FF04 directory, install, enjoy the force feedback

Thanks for this post!
What about your previous post stating you had to find and rename registery keys? Do you not have to do any of that when using the steps in your last post?
This gives full Force Feedback in Win 7?
I was about to buy an old Formula Force but was researchign this dilema before going through with the purchase. Has anyone else tried this and had success with it?
