I have an identical issue headset works perfectly even with LGS software at my friends house even after a reboot. But on my computer i get the same sound crash issues im on a G930 as well but this is the same issue i've been having and can find no way to permanently fix. It seems to be a software issue local to our computers but i don't know what it could be.

Trying a different USB port is yielding "better" results. This may have forced Win8 to visit the driver repository for the latest drivers I've installed? Not sure, and possibly too soon to tell if things are more stable.

So the useage of a different USB port was short lived. I've noticed the process "Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation" strikes my interest... if I end that task while in game (Counter Strike Source), the audio dies just like it normally does on its own. Going into the in-game audio settings, and changing from "7.1" to "2 speaker", restores audio. At that point I can switch back to "7.1".
There's an artical on MS technet about this process, in regards to Creative drivers. I do have a creative X-FI installed, so I'm going to give it a shot. Maybe I'm blaming the wrong manufacturer here

I actually think this problem has to do with USB 3.0 ports. I can use my Logitech G35 headset on my desktop's USB 2.0 ports, but it cannot be used on my laptop which has USB2.0/3.0 combined ports (nor the USB 3.0 on my desktop). Sound will get all static sometimes, audio gets muffled during action scenes in games, audio menus crashing, etc. Eventually doesn't recognize the headset until I restart. Out of the USB 2.0 ports I have zero issues with my Logitech G35's.

Are there really anyone working on this issue? Will it ever be fixed? What's the likability it will be fixed within the remaints of the year?
For me the problem only occurs when my computer tries to make any sound at all. About 30 % of the time when I start playing music or an app tries to make any noise the programmes which tries to play a sound will crash along with the software which came with the headset. To solve this problem I have to play music on spotify with very low volume all of the time in the background. As long as there already is audio, I have no problem what so ever.
However, it can be a mess every time I start my computer and I try to get spotify running and it starts to crash or whenever I loose internet connection and spotify stops playing music. I've had the headset for more than a year now and I have problems with it multiple times a week and almost every time I start my computer. This headset have been nothing but pain to use.

Yea same issue with my G430, the sound just cuts out if there is not a constant sound going and I have to struggle to get it to come back then it works fine while I have the sound going. Been having this issue for a while hoped they would update their drivers with a fix by now.

Nope, crashing on my new MSI GE70, it worked fine for like 2 weeks but now it freezes the spotify and everything that having to to with the sound. I have test to change ports, Uninstall drivers etc. One thing i have noticed is that when i have reinstall the software and got a sound, i can listen to like 1 track and then it crashes, during the time that the sound works its bad quality. Anyone have a fix for this or am i looking to buy a new headset?
ps i have a g35 headset on a windows 8 (x64) with LGS_8.50.281_x64_Logitech

Already tried going back to older drivers? try 8.40, and dont expect a decent answer from logitech, nothing will help until they fix their **bleep** drivers
