Re: Android App?

[ Edited ]

Is anyone at Logitech working on an Android app for Vid to allow users with Android-based tablets and phones to connect with and use the Revue/TV cam system at home and/or with other relatives and friends using their Revue systems?

Come on Logitech - this one is obvious and very easy to do!

Hello Reedme,

Logitech is constantly striving to be a leader in the technology world with inovative products that our customers need and want. Our engineers are always putting their minds together to come up with new and attractive hardware and software. At this time there has not been any announcements of an Android application, however I will submit your inquiry as a product and feature request.

Thank you,

Now two years passed, does Logitech come out any IOS or Android App please?

Re: Android App?

The generic reply from Logitech to a similar inquiry in 2010 is the same generic reply to the query in 2012. Clearly the conpany has no intention to supporting Android or cannot reach the required legal agreements.  Look elsewhere. The marketplace is the driver of product success.

Re: Android App?

Logitech has to realize that a lot of people would like to have Logitech Vid as a mobile app. I personally have called in the idea and have emailed the suggestion/comment to let them know about making a mobile app.  I've used Skype and Tango (Oovoo doesn't work on my SIII) and I honestly believe that a Logitech app would work alot better than these. Plus I won't have to load all my contacts and have to tell all my family members to have more than 1 video chat program/app.  C'mon LOGITECH!!!!!!!!! :smileymad:
