Logitech Vid

I know this is a non-standard question but my family has a problem comming up with family video chat. I have a Logitech C615. My brother has some Logitech cam associated with his cable subscription and can only use Logitech Vid. For some reason he can not use Google Chat, Skype or other 3rd party video chat software. My sister has a new laptop whose built in camera is not logitech. Since my brother can only use Logitech Vid can we install the Logitech Vid software on my sisters machine so they can video chat? If it can not, is there any suggested work around? There is no way to attach an external Logitech WebCam to the TV/Cable connection.

Hello RainManOR;

Logitech Vid HD on the Macintosh and Windows operating systems will work with most USB and integrated (i.e. built in) web cameras.

Logitech Vid HD on the Logitech Revue will only work with the Logitech TVCam.
