Cannot use Bluetooth Audio Device

Hello,

At the "Application & Device Settings" window, I receive the error below whenever I try to test the speaker output of my bluetooth headset device (BlueAnt z9i) ---

---------------------------

Logitech Vid Error

---------------------------

Speaker test failed due to no supported sample rates. Please select a different device and try again.

---------------------------

OK

---------------------------

Is there a workaround for this?  What sample rates are required, and will there be a fix to downsample to the device's supported sample rate?  I have no problems using this headset with other VOIP software like Skype but I really would like to give Logitech Vid a shot. :smileyhappy:  I'm using 64-bit Windows Vista SP2 and Logitech Vid version 6.0.6904.

Re: Cannot use Bluetooth Audio Device

Hi gmontem,

Different applications often employ different codecs so while uncommon that could explain why you're able to use them in Skype but not in Vid.   I'd recommend going getting the latest drivers for your sound card from the manufactures website then reboot and try again.

Re: Cannot use Bluetooth Audio Device

Hi Maurice,

I'm already using the latest drivers for my onboard audio.  The speaker test works fine using the onboard audio.  It fails when I'm trying to use my bluetooth headset.  I reinstalled the drivers anyway and the speaker test for bluetooth still fails.

Re: Cannot use Bluetooth Audio Device

Would you please submit diagnostic information using the Help menu (by clicking '?' icon) on Vid and contact Logitech support via Support Link

Reference this forum post and provide the email address you registered with Vid. Our technical support can take a look at the diagnostic log that can help in troubleshooting the issue.

Ok, thx.

Lets go ahead and get you to send an email to support with a diagnostic log.  Denote that you were told to do so in the forums
