Hello, i am working on this issue for my pastor,
He has a C110M camera using the Logitech software to connect with one of his friends.
I can see that his friend is available, when we click connect we can hear the "ringing" sound
Rings about 3 times then the lights start flashing on the Modem/Router and internet connection drops.
Get a little popup on screen saying Internet cable disconnected (windows message)
Cable provider is time warner
Modem/Router is Netgear CGD24g
Windows XP home edition
Any Ideas as to why this may be happining?

I appreciate you providing the Modem/Router name.
The issue you describe appears to be the same as this one:
Is it the same person?
Would you also be able to provide all of the other information I requested.

No, I am not the same person. The error message if i let it continue
is to check internet connection. I will not be able to submit any error messages
as it appears to cycle the Modem/router after 3 rings calling out. it takes about
a minute for the modem to restore internet after trying to dial out. Something is
disrupting the modem and causing it to cycle( all lights go out on modem and
then they start flashing) additional troubleshooting I attempted to forward port
9000 to the PC, that didnt help. The computer is connected via lan cable to the

You may still be able to submit a diagnostic by leaving Logitech Vid HD open the entire time. Then after the internet is back up, right click the Vid HD icon in the Windows Notification area. Then left click on "Submit Diagnostic Information".
Once you do this, send me a private message with your Vid HD e-mail address. In that message include the hardware and firmware version of your modem/router.

If the computer has a wireless adapter, make sure it is "disabled" in your computer operating system to ensure it is not obtaining the connection instead of the Ethernet.
If you do this and the issue goes away, try and locate driver updates for your wireless adapter or leave it disabled.
If the issue still occurs when only connected by Ethernet, you may want to consider updating the firmware on your Neatgear CGD24G.
IMPORTANT: Read all of the manufacturers instructions before downloading and unpdating the firmware.
