Logitech Vid

Hi, well I have a persisting problem with my webcam. Everything works except for recording sounds through the mic. I tried the recommended click on settings from Logitech VID HD program and test the mic function, using the HD Webcam C510 from the droplist. After selecting that I click on test and I receive a window telling me "Microphone test failed due to no supported sample rates. Please select a different device and try again." So I tried the other options and to no avail. Then I did a full reinstall from the site by first uninstalling then installing the program again this time from the site. I also switched my usb port to my desktop instead of my external hub. Nothing again. I really want to use this. Thank you.

I forgot to mention I run my computer on W7 Ultimate Edition 64-bit.

Hello crazyfury,

Since you are running Windows 7 it is possible that you are running Vid in compatibility mode which sometimes causes these sort of issues.  If so please take Logitech Vid out of compatibility mode.  You can do this by performing the following steps.

1  Make sure Logitech Vid is closed

2  Right click on the Logitech Vid icon, then select properties.

3  Click on the compatibility tab

4  If the box  "Run this program in compatibility mode for" is checked - uncheck it.

5  click OK

Still the same I will be contacting the support team through a ticket now
