Hi there,
Hi there,
I have a problem: I am at work and I am at home, and I want to make Logitech Vid calls from everywhere.
1.) What happens if I am logged in with my work PC and my home PC at the same time. Which PC picks up the call / rings?
2.) How cann I call my home PC when we both operate on the same account?

Hello Joem Krebs:
1. If you are logged into Logitech Vid with the same user account at home and at work, when someone calls you a pop up window will appear on both your computers indicating that you have a call. It will display the callers name and button options to accept or ignore the call. There will be an audible call ringer.
Whichever computer you click accept on receives that call. If someone attempts to call you while you are on a live call, the pop up window will appear on the other computer that is logged into Vid in an available status. If someone is at that location, they may click accept and receive that call. Then there will be two different active calls going to your same login simultaneously, one to your computer at work and one to your computer at home. If no one accepts that call, the caller will get a message indicating that you did not answer the call. On your computer that did not accept the call, you will have a missed call indicator in the lower right corner of Logitech Vid that you may click on to see who the missed call was from and options to call them back or clear the message.
IMPORTANT: The dual logins of the same user account will not work correctly if you have gone into the Logitech Vid menu options on both computers (Settings > Application & Device Settings > Advanced Settings) and selected the option to "Accept incoming calls automatically". If you have done so, you will be able to login and make calls but the call attempts to you will fail.
2. You cannot call yourself in Logitech Vid if both the computer you are calling from and the computer you are calling to are logged into the same user account. You will need to create a second user account utilizing a different e-mail address and log one user account in at work and the other user account in at home.
Thanks
MCW
