Recently we discovered a problem on our servers that may prevent a small number of customers from logging in or making calls and sometimes showing as offline.

To help with the troubleshooting of your particular problem please submit a diagnostic log file, Here’s how:

First re-launch Vid.

 Press Ctrl D.

In the "Logitech Vid HD Status Messages" window that appears, change the "Level;" in the lower left corner to 6.

Press Ctrl Q to quit Vid.

Launch Vid HD again.

When you are viewing the main screen with the same symptom,  right click the Vid HD icon located in the notification area of the windows task bar (next to the system clock).

Click on "Submit Diagnostic Information".

You have not provided enough information for me to trouble shoot your problem through this forum.

Please contact VID SUPPORT so they can retrieve the necessary information and start the diagnosis to resolve your problem.

In the meantime here are a few suggestions:

Recycle the power to your network by turning off you modem, router, and computer(s). Bring each device back online one at a time in the following order: Modem, router, computer. 

If no change try bypassing your router by connecting your PC directly to your internet modem. This will tell if it's the router that's causing the problem.  

Please take a look at faq 11758  to make sure your firewall settings are ok.

Also if there is another computer using VID on the same network then you will need to change Vid's network base port address on one of the computers.

To do this please take a look at faq # 11767
