Hi my button text is missing, making it very hard to navigate around VIDHD's software menus. I was able to match up this software with that on another computer where we have a separate logitech camera. Should I do what this guy did to fix the problem? http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Logitech-Vid/The-sof
I have the 310 and windows 7. AMD Phenom II X6, 8 GB ram. I am the main administrator on this PC.

Hello entombor2;
The post you referenced pertains to a parental control feature in the operating system that was blocking the application. You appear to be describing a different issue. Would you please capture a screenshot and add it to this post?
Additionally, please do the following to capture a diagnostic:
Duplicate the issue so that you are seeing the page with missing button text.
Press Ctrl D.
In the "Logitech Vid HD Status Messages" window that appears, change the "Level;" in the lower left corner to 6.
Press Ctrl Q.
Launch Vid HD again.
- Existing users (already have a registered account) -
When you are viewing the problematic screen again, right click the Vid HD icon located in the notification area of the windows task bar (next to the system clock).
Click on "Submit Diagnostic Information".
In the web browser window that appears, enter your Vid HD user account e-mail address and click "Submit".
- New users (no registered user account) -
When you are viewing the problematic screen again, press Ctrl D to open up the "Logitech Vid HD Status Messages" window.
Click on that window to make it active. Then press Ctrl A to highlight all of the text in the window. Press Ctrl C to copy all the highlighted text.
Open up the notepad application and press Ctrl V to paste all the content in to the notepad document.
Save the document.
Once this is done, send me a private message and tell me your Vid HD user account e-mail address. Attach that notepad file in the message as well
Thanks
MCW

I'm having the same problem. The splash screen when I open the program has a text block under the "add a friend" and "practice call" that is greyed out with an "x" in the upper right corner of the text block. Next to the "?" block, a text block only has the top 1/2 of the word "Help" with a "check mark" above it. To the right a gear (settings?) and to the right of this the same thing happens with "Settings." On the left side at the top, another text block appears with only the upper 1/2 of the Logitech Vid HD logo in the block. The logitech log in the bottom left corner. Upon mousing over the items I mentioned, a question appropo to the item appears above the "add a friend" and "practice call" text blocks. I have no way to know if any of this is correct or if there's something missing or what. I also had the same problem as the gentleman who posted "vid hd" on 5/24/12 at 10:14 AM. Initially, I couldn't get past the sign-on screen. So I uninstalled the programs (c270h Logitech Webcam software bundled with Logitech Vid HD) and ran CCleaner to clear the registry. I then reinstalled with the same results. I did, however, get past the login screen this time to register the Vid Hd product. But the overlapping forms still persisted throughout the process.
Once installed, I went to the windows property of the program and disabled display scaling on high DPI settings, and the splash screen improved. Yet it still has the problem in any resolution chosen outline above.
I did the things you advised under the original post here, other than emailing or copying the log file, and nothing improved. Have you found a solution to this yet? Please email me should there be one. I'm pretty disappointed right now. Can't navigate around the program to use it.

I posted in another thread and then I found this one.
So, anyone know what is going on?

Hello ;
Our engineers identified an issue with the service that delivers content from the servers to the Logitech Vid HD application interface. They have corrected this. Please quit Logitech Vid HD and shut down your computer. Then power cycle your modem and router. Then power your computer on and launch Vid HD again.
Thanks
