Using a Microsoft Life-Cam HD-6000. Used to work but did a bunch of upodating to fix an audio problem and now whenever I make a video call I get color bars on the other side of the call as well as in my preview pane. Tried updating drivers and reinstalling Logitech Vid. Video does work when I go to 'Application & Device Settings'. I can select and unselect the HD-6000 under webcams.
Any idea's?

Hello CB4;
Try your Micorsoft HD webcam with UVC drivers as follows:
Uninstall the Microsoft HD webcam software/driver. Then disconnect the webcam and reboot your PC.
After the reboot, make sure no other messaging or video chat applications are running.
Then re-connect the webcam. Windows will detect your Microsoft HD webcam and install the generic UVC driver.
Once the installation is finished, launch Logitech Vid HD and sign in. Go to Settings > Application & Device Settings to make sure you have your webcam selected and you see your image in the left side preview window. Then click "Save"
NOTE: Your webcam may appear as the name "USB Video Device".
Once this is done, add your own Vid HD e-mail address as a contact and call yourself on your PC.
Then call your friends that are available.
Thanks
MCW
