Few Problem of V470

I just bought the V470 few days back. Had changed it once because I found slight delay, that was really irritating. I'm not sure if this delay happened to majority of people but out of the two V470 I tried, both had the same problem. The delay only happens when the mouse is moved for the first time from the inactive mode. The delay causes the pointed to jump. This is really irritating to use. I want to know if this problem happened to the rest of people who use V470. Is there solution to this delay issue?

The second major problem this V470 mouse has is its left click has different pressure than the right click. The left click required more pressure than the right click. I could clearly feel the difference. This is actually a physical defect on the product. I think Logitech has dropped the quality of their products. It is quite disappointed that the mouse of this price would suffer from such issues.

I don't really have an option. The shop, where I returned the mouse had refused to change the mouse with the other model. The only option given to me was to send the mouse to claim the warranty. Right now I'm looking for a solution to solve the delay issue. Any suggestions would highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Re: Few Problem of V470

Hello,

I am very disappointed in the way the v470 goes into a lower power state after 5 seconds of no movement. The problem is that every time you load a web page and read a couple sentences in an article, and then move the mouse, you miss the target you are aiming for because it is not predictable where the mouse moves to for the first half second while it wakes up. Rather than just being still, it goes slow, then snaps way faster (probably due to the software acceleration in the OS).

Now, if I could fine tune the time it takes for the mouse to go into this lower power state (rather than having it forced to 5 seconds) then I would really love the mouse. Because it is has some of the best responsiveness, usability, feel, and scroll wheel of most other wireless mice out there. It is far superior to the apple mouse, in every aspect, except for the 5 seconds to sleep problem that makes the mouse jump over 80% of the time you are using it.

If someone knows how to tweak the settings and change the time to sleep (Even just 30 seconds would be better than the 5 seconds it is currently on, but 1 or 2 minutes would be better). Please let me know if you can figure out how to do this. I have tried contacting logitech and tried other mice and can't really figure any way to solve this problem yet.

So i give the mouse 0 stars, because of this show stopping bug in the hardware.
