G7 pairing problem

I tried to pair my hp laptop with G7 through integrated bluetooth broadcome module, but laptop doesn't recognise a mouse with Bluetooth Wizzard. Good video here http://bluetooth.com/Bluetooth/Connect/Devices/Device_Pairing_Videos.htm with MX900. G7 has VERY confused reconnection option (hold left button, click ON/OFF [when it's turned OFF or ON??] button, click 5 times right button still holding left then release left one) which is very tricky and I am not sure it works or not... I tried several times to reconnect the mouse without success. Bluetooth does not see it...

I can see Logitech mouse in Device Manager, but it has Code 10 message in Driver info after I uninstalled PS/2 TouchPud driver. Mouse works through USB bundle, which is not the option for me because I bought it to use wirelessly.

How can I make it works? Thanks

Re: G7 pairing problem

The G7 is not a Bluetooth mouse. It is only 2.4GHz. So you will have to use you the dongle that came with the G7.

Re: G7 pairing problem

Too bad, I like this mouse because of design and rechargable li-batteries...

Could I use it through integrated WiFi?
What logitech mouses are work w/bluetooth?

Re: G7 pairing problem

No, with Wifi.

The MX1000 from the MX5000 and diNovo Media Desktop Laser, MX900, and V270 are Bluetooth mice by Logitech.

How about MX Revolution and VX Revolution?

Re: G7 pairing problem

They are just like the G7. They are 2.4GHz, but not Bluetooth.
