I was curious what kind of range others are getting out of their MX5500 keyboard/mouse.

With the BT receiver plugged into the back of my computer about 5ft away I get around 10% signal strength according to the mx5500 vista gadget, mouse frequently disconnects and acts jumpy.

If I use a usb extension cord and put the BT receiver about 1ft away keyboard/mouse work fine but I only get around 50% signal strength. While it works fine this is nowhere near the advertised 30ft range.
