Re: Trackball Bluetooth?

Please, please, make a bluetooth trackman! I own 2 marble+, 1 wheel, and 1 cordless and as a graphic artist working 8-12 hrs a day I wouldn't be comfortable with anything else. Not to mention it keeps regular mouse people away from my computer! I will buy one maybe two once its availible, and I know others who will also.

Add me to the 'me too' group - I'm about to bite the bullet and by a wireless thumball. But I would much, much prefer a bluetooth model.

I HATE wireless dongle junk laying all over the place. Totally defeats the purpose of wireless peripherals, IMHO.

One other frustrating thing about the current wireless trackballs:

You can not use two of the same wireless devices in the same room. (Probably on the same frequency and channel) Which is quite irritating, since we moved into a new office and the only sollution was to buy usb trackballs (yes, not wireless, back to the old days again).

Logitech, please fix this!

Re: Trackball Bluetooth?

I think this discussion has been going on for a year or so now -- I might hae started it! But does any of this get through to Logitech??? Are we wasting our time?!?!?! If anyone from Logitech is monitoring this discussion could they let us all know? Please!

Re: Trackball Bluetooth?

I talked to Logitech at MWE in January, and they seemed to be aware that there was interest, so I'm guessing that they do.

Re: Trackball Bluetooth?

I registered on this forum just to put my 2 cents in.  I would buy a bluetooth version of a trackman as soon as it was available.  Are you listening Logitech Product Development?

Re: Trackball Bluetooth?

I registered for these forums just to ask that Logitech bring a bluetooth Trackman Marble to market. I love my USB Trackman Marble (it's my third version, since I bought a PS/2 version a few computers back). I would love to keep a wireless one in my bag with my laptop so I could bring it out anytime I'm using the machine. Thanks Logitech, for listening!

Add me onto the growing list here and to the list of others on various discussion boards of releasing various types of bluetooth trackballs.

For me, my preference would be one in the exact form of the Trackman Wheel.  Have 2 cordless ones and love them a whole lot.  Once in a while, I'll try using a regular mouse, but it's just not as comfortable or productive- and I could never get the same feeling and accuracy even BEFORE I started using the Trackman, either.

The "wireless" trend has been going on for some time in various aspects of computing and communication.  It would only make sense to extend this to all items in demand.  From what I have gathered, Trackmans are no exception.

Re: Trackball Bluetooth?

This is exactly what I have been waiting for: A bluetooth trackball.

Please base it off of the Marble Mouse, that mouse is nearly perfect as it stands. All it needs is a scroll wheel and to be bluetooth...

I don't care much for the TrackMan Wheel, though I can see why people prefer it. Maybe something like the Cordless Trackman, though I still believe a tweaked version of the Marble would be superior. I love the form factor, how you can rest the entire palm of your hand on the mouse, being able to use three fingers for speed and accuracy, using the side of my hand and thumb to hit the buttons, and the obvious space saving feature that comes with any trackball. Oh, if only it were bluetooth!
