Re: Trackball Bluetooth?

I also registered purely to voice my support for this. I need a bluetooth mouse to accompany my bluetooth keyboard, that I will be using from the couch. A trackball seems like the perfect tool, since there would be no good surface to mouse over.

There is some form of apple-focused bluetooth trackball, but its expensive and has the trackball under the palm, instead of under the thumb, where its actually usable. :smileytongue:

For crying out loud, c'mon Logitech!  Surely more Trackmans have been sold than these- and you're going to be making THEM w/Bluetooth...

It's time Logitech. Bluetooth trackman, marble and wheel, are needed. This forum is a couple of years old now. Don't wait until another company gets the jump on you. You have some loyal customers waiting.

i've used a trackman forever. yes, forever. getting ready to purchase a laptop that has built-in bluetooth, and what's better for a laptop then a portable trackball so that i don't need a good surface. and what better trackball than a trackman?

i'll tell you:

bluetooth wireless trackman.

I know the trackball market has to be a lot smaller than the mouse market, but i'd presume that people that use trackballs are probably more likely to invest in a bluetooth one... since trackballs are tailor-made for mobility / cluttered / small spaces

Re: Trackball Bluetooth?

A Bluetooth trackball (in black or dark grey) and a comfort laser keyboard (also Bluetooth) would be the best package deal available right now. If it existed. I would buy that almost immedialtely. I am trying to set up a home office to go for my laptop and would like to use as many wireless/bluetooth components as I can.

Logitech are you listening? If you build it we will buy it.

Re: Trackball Bluetooth?

I just submitted the request for a Bluetooth Trackman on Logitech's website.  www.logitech.com/newbusiness

Everyone else should do the same.

Been looking for this since the first bluetooth mouse came out. Would buy it in a second. Been a trackball guy for a long time. Actually I'd probably buy 3 one for my office one for home and another to leave in my bag. I already have that setup with my wired trackballs, I'd go wireless but I hate having to deal with dongles

Been using a cord and cordless version of the Track Man Wheel and would buy a Bluetooth version instantly Beta.

Re: Trackball Bluetooth?

For some reason I am not suprised by this response in the least. Logitech is knelling the death of trackballs. Guess I need to start a savings account to create my own (throws a penny in a jar).
