Mice - Bluetooth

I just bought a v470 and i feel uncomfortable using it
it is so not accurate for me. it doesnt go smooth for me.
I am using mac 10.5
does anyone has a same problem as i have? any solution? is my setting wrong?

I have the same problem with you. I think this is just the bad side of bluetooth.
I thought posting in this forum would help me. But there is actually no response to my previous post.
Will somebody help us?

Same here. I'm very disapointed with v470. No BT stack support, lagging issues... its a such a shame...

I just Googled the problem with the V470 & I read that you should go into Setpoint and remove the Checkmark from Gaming Detection.

There is no such option on the Logitech Mac software, in fact there is no SetPoint software at all, only a Logitech Control Center software. There is currently no solution for this problem, but in principle Logitech might issue a firmware update because Bluetooth is bidirectional so at least in theory they might be able to update the mouse.

For me, the smoothness of movement of the V470 cursor is some what related to the surface and/or color of the mouse pad.  I could not find a mouse pad that worked well (weak under powered laser?).  The best V470 pad I have found so far is a beige colored semigloss paper from the inside back cover of a news magazine.

The lagging after a few seconds of being idle, seems to be unfixable (poorly engineered?).

I had a Microsoft bluetooth mouse that worked well (none of the above problems) but it was too small for my hand  and returned it for a V470 (dumb move), which is also on the small side.
