The situation:
the mouse connects fine with the integrated bluetooth module on the dell precision m65 in vista and ubuntu. The mouse works also in both os. But it stopped working after a restart, running a fullscreen app or see the screensaver.
I gues the problem is simply solved by a firmware upgrade or something... but no solution was given on the logitech support site or the help desk (tel). They advised to bring back the mouse to the shop... Another solution was to switch all the wifi channels in my neighborhood and work to channel 6, (what is he thinking?). After realizing that was a bit of impossible he advised to start windows in safe mode.. (sure).
After all this good advise I am going to burn the mouse or feed it to the cats...
Another disappointment is that no answer to similar problems is supplied in this forum, not even something like: We are working at it... or we can't solve the problem
a disappointed customer

Are you using Windows XP or Vista? Do you have the SetPoint software installed

if you read my post, you will see that it doesn't matter if you installed setpoint... because the same problem is with or without setpoint in windows and in Ubuntu! It's the mouse or the bluetooth connection itself....

the plenty of details about my system drivers and specs (e.g. the receiver) should not necessarily focus the issue on them: the mice is still under suspicion, in fact nobody replied to have this BT mouse working perfectly, moving at rates over 88 inputs

Logitech is the one who must investigate this... but they don't! They know their BT products are crap, and they can't solve the issues. If they do no one is going to buy logitech mouuses again. They can't even reply at any post...

Well, this forum is a place where you get to talk to other Logitech customers on answers to common questions, share solutions and provide your insights as it is a online user discussion forum.
You would also be able to PM the Support Specialist or, I would advise that you contact our Technical Support team directly either via email or telephone and see if they can assist you in finding a resolution to your issue. That would be the best way to get official assistance from Logitech
