C - BS35 problem

[ Edited ]
I have had my wireless optical mouse for a few months now, and it had been working wonderfully up until this morning. The computer is picking up the receiver, and it registers in the hardware manager. Also the indicator lights on the mouse still light up like normal. I even tried the mouse on another computer with the same effect. So my question is this: Is there any perceivable fix to this problem, or is my mouse broken? I would also like to add that I have tried changing the battery a few times. Also I am running Windows Vita.

I would be glad to assist you on this issue and appreciate if you could provide the following information:

  1. The exact product model details as seen in FAQ#5105

  2. The software version you have installed for the product

  3. Your operating system for the computer

  4. Any other troubleshooting steps tried prior to this posting

Like I said, I tried changing the battery and am running Windows Vista. The model number is C - BS35. I have tried downloading Setpoint, and it doesn't seem to help.

Re: C - BS35 problem

I have the exact same issue. Plug the receiver into the USB, USB receiver is found and installed. HID device found and installed. Mouse does not work. Changed to a different PC, same problem. Both running Windows XP SP2. The original PC was running the latest setpoint as I had just reinstalled windows.

Using the receiver from my old wireless combo I was able to verify that the mouse is fine. I would like to know If there is a way to purchase the receiver alone.

I too am having this issue. The unit is only a couple of months old, windows xp recognizes the device, the mouse turns on, but nothing happens.

Hi:smileyhappy:,

Dogboy66, what is the P/N of your mouse?

fregas, FreddyC, please try reconnecting the mouse. If this doesn't work, please e-mail Customer Support  to process a warranty replacement.

Re: C - BS35 problem

The setpoint software's connection utility did the trick for me. Thanks!
