How do I change the sensitivity of the mouse? It is causing all sorts of problems in gaming, in my photo editing, and it is annoying when surfing the web...
I am using Setpoint and Windows XP.
I have already gone into mouse settings and made it so that it scrolls 1 line, and so that it has least acceleration, and least speed, and stuff, and nothing has changed!
Here is the thing:
In normal mice, you know how you get a 'click' every time the wheel is rotated? Each 'click' scrolls the windows default amount of lines.
However, the scale of movement is so sensitive on the VX revolution, that a 'click' on the microgear thing is counted as 5 to 10 clicks in windows.
How do I get it so that by default, 5 clicks count as 1 click. The mouse is far to sensitive for scrolling!
For example, every time I move my mouse, it twitches the scrolling. If I scroll, then even though it looks stopped, it will rock back and forth slightly, but will ascend up 1 or 2 lines and do down and whatever.
Also, I am pretty sure nothing is in the windows or setpoint settings, I would gladly accept any sort of software hack, even if it may ruin Windows. I have a Windows XP CD with me, and I really wouldn't care much to reinstall. I use dual boot Mac and Windows...
Also, as far as I know, windows does a sort of 'amount of scrolling per click' instead of 'amount of scrolling per amount of clicks'.
