Clicking Issues

When I single click sometimes the mouse would double click. this does not happen every time I click but I noticed that when it does happen, the clicking malfunction will go on for 3-5 times. Another example of this issue is here: http://forums.logitech.com/logitech/board/message?board.id=hardware_mice&thread.id=8721

The solutions here do not help me and I have the latest setpoint. I've tried the mouse on other ports, and I've tried them on other computers. I also don't want to go into the mouse myself as is suggestedin the other forum post...

I'd like to request another mouse, but my PID number has been scratched off. The writing on the back is so easily scratched off... I'm afraid that this is going to be more hassle than it is worth.

I just want a solution that works Logitech... Please keep in mind that this is one of your top of the line products. I paid the money because I like things simple. Not so much for the mouse but for the service.

Please advise me on what I am to do now. And I'd like to restate that I've already tried switching ports, tried it on other computers, have the latest setpoint, no viruses, I've even reformatted. At this point I'm looking for a replacement. My PID is unreadable. I have the M/N and P/N.

Thank You

Kris

Re: Clicking Issues

That is a sign of a broken microswitch, nothing you can really do to solve it aside from sending it back for a replacement.
