Same here...and from just a few minutes browsing through this forum I see it's a common problem.  Even though Logitech's support rep said that this was "very, very rare indeed".  So rare he didn't even need to troubleshoot with me, to see if I was doing something wrong.

Contacted amazon, and getting a replacement sent out...

Coming on the heels of my brand new HDTV being sent out for warranty service I am a disgruntled consumer right now.  As if $700 isn't enough for a dependable television and $50 isn't enough for a quality, dependable mouse.  This is a mouse for crying out loud and I dropped $50 on it.
