Re: Logitech MX Revolution Sticking/Lag/Stuttering Problem!

[ Edited ]
Hey there.
Looks like many people have the same problem as me... and that makes the problem official.

I just want to know what are the possibilities that we have / what logitech is doing to this problem?

Thanks.

My old MX-Revo was very bad, got it replaced on RMA and the new one was working PERFECT, now, after a few months, it is back to lagging, freezing and just plane pissing me off. Buy a mouse that retails for around 100 bucks and this is what you get? YO Logi, What the hell?

Kunal,
I'm curious that you would take interest to individual cases and yet it seems pretty obvious that this is a deeper problem that needs to be cleaned up with a recall. I at least hope you are aware that the issue is persistent in all mice of this model.

It would seem Logitech is only interested in answering to Individuals and not the thread in general.
I say to you Logitech please reply to all us MX rev owners who have paid good money for a product that falls well bellow standards.
It would be a fair request that you make available free of charge a USB extension so that this problem can be addressed.
I am sure you would agree that it is obviously the MX sensor if you move it up close to the mouse it fixes the problem.
This is a reasonable request by me and I am sure all other users who have experience this problem as we wish to have a mouse that functions as it was intended or at least feel as though the problem was attempted to be rectified with suitable provisions if an appropriate solution could not be obtained through other measures.
Logitech I would like to PM you over a solution for this problem.

Re: Logitech MX Revolution Sticking/Lag/Stuttering Problem!

Hi,

I am well aware of this thread (and others like it) - it is hard to miss. I do understand your frustration. However, it is possible that other variables (wireless interference, OS driver conflicts, etc) could be causing these problems. Rest assured that if the mouse is defective, it will be replaced under our warranty policy.

Kunal

Thank you Kunal for your reply.
I understand what your saying about possible interference by Wireless or conflicting Software but the facts
so far are saying a very different story.
I would agree but after moving my sensor closer to my mouse and turning off hardware acceleration the mouse is functioning as it should only thing is I know have a sensor siting almost next to my mouse.
How can I fix this is this a hardware fault or is it from what I can tell from friends and family who also own this mouse that it seems to be a standard problem occurring on there computers also.
Is there anything Logitech can do?

Re: Logitech MX Revolution Sticking/Lag/Stuttering Problem!

Hi again,

Just to confirm, have you tried reconnecting the MX Revolution mouse? Doing this will automatically switch channels and may improve the quality of the connection.

Thanks,
Kunal
