Re: Logitech MX Revolution Sticking/Lag/Stuttering Problem!

this mouse is unfortunatly not very reliable. I love the feel of it, but im wondering if people are still having the same issues with the bluetooth model.
and i cannot imagine anyone having problems with logitechs customer service. its by far one of the best manus out there when you have problems.
my questions were answered within two days, and my replacement was shipped out within a week.

I have been having similar problems, when playing games. Every couple of minutes, my mouse completely stops responding, and the problem has been getting worse over the past year.

I know what your support has been saying, and I'm positive it isn't the games or the software. Its your mouse! Was there just a really really bad year of them that you sent out? I'm willing to try a replacement, but judging from what I've been reading on this thread, its just a faulty product.

Who do I need to contact to try a replacement?

Re: Logitech MX Revolution Sticking/Lag/Stuttering Problem!

I understand where you're coming from in trying to point out different variables. However, I at least, have never had this problem or any other frequency problems with your other mice. For example, I use my old G7 cordless on my laptop and I can plug that in right where my MX was and there is no problem. This fact alone tells me something is different with the reciever/tranciever in the MX. Maybe that is just my case. Anyone else ever had this type of problem with a previous logi cordless?

P.S. I appreciate the direction towards your Customer Service, but there have obviously been others on this thread alone who've recieved 2 or 3 new mice and still the same problem. As such, I'm extremely hesitant to even bother going through the process (however easy that may be) of getting a replacement.

Re: Logitech MX Revolution Sticking/Lag/Stuttering Problem!

I had this problem when i first bought the mouse, for me it was a simple fix of moving the receiver closer to the mouse with a USB extension, now my only problem with the mouse is the "infinite" scroll only spins for a 1/2 second

Re: Logitech MX Revolution Sticking/Lag/Stuttering Problem!

I bought this mouse today and guess what? I am returning this disappointment tomorrow. Whenever something loads its stutters and sticks. I could smash this thing against a wall. I have a logitech wired mouse that works PERFECT, but I wanted a nice wireless my mx700 was awesome. Now I guess I go with a new brand. Seems logitech is not doing much to correct this problem. They lost another customer.

Seems Logitech's business ethic is all messed up.

Quality assurance doesn't exist these days and I can tell you that first hand as a concept designer who's brought some 20+ products into production. Aesthetics matter, functionality and usability does not.

I'm under NDA and can't disclose (as much as I'd like to) the companies who's business practices are way way below par. But you can see my portfolio http://www.project1media.com for works have been released of contract.

So long as the products looks good and Logitech's minions are out there in abundance writing positive reviews, they'll keep selling this crap to the masses.

I expect my comment will be censored and deleted.

Re: Logitech MX Revolution Sticking/Lag/Stuttering Problem!

I have this EXACT same problem. SO frustrating. My friend was using my mouse the other day and he was saying how messed up it is. VERY annoying.

I even went so far as buying A BRAND NEW one this weekend to see if it resolved the problem. Nope, EXACT same issues. Except this one's wheel SOMETIMES clicks into free-spin mode and back. My original mouse HARDLY goes into free-spin mode now.

I went and bought the G9 Laser and it's WORLD'S better. Wired is the way to go! No more lagging and sticking issues! Now I just need to return the MX Mouse and sell my old one. :smileysad:
