Right...To the people who have the problem where the mouse seems to freeze them jump to medium DPI setting then back to normal i'm pretty sure i know what the problem is. Well mines been working for 24 hours now so ... anyway ... Constantly switching between the two batteries has caused an insecure connection between the battery and mouse, have a look at the picture of what i done below.

LoL a bit of DIY on the mouse bit of paper and tape and touch wood it hasn't froze up yet. Try it out its worth a go. I'll post back if it starts up again.

I've now got this same problem, using any usb port on my laptop or my desktop pc.  Not much of a gaming mouse that stops working all the time!  How do I go about getting a warranty replacement in the UK?

I also have the problem with the G7, but i noticed that when i replace the battery, it takes time for the mouse to be able to connect to the receiver again.. about 5-10seconds. so im guessing its not a battery issue

So is there anymore information Mona? why have they not contacted me i have followed the instructions and nothing so what am i to expect, that logitech has screwed me again?

I contacted Logitech Australia, and they have received your fax. However, we did not receive your proof of purchase. If you are able to produce your proof of purchase, they would be able to assist you further.

Oh, wait. Now we need a proof of purchase for a product we actually own and constantly have in our hands to get warranty service?

Better start digging up those purchase receipts, then. I'm not even sure I kept those.
