I barely used my MX and it started double clicking when I would single click. I tired playing with all the settings and know thats not the problem since my other logictech mouse single clicks fine. Did I get ripped off for buying what I thought was the best mouse I could buy? Also the scroll wheel is not always accurate and randomly dosnt work right. Another note is the crappy battery life that dosnt last anywhere as long as it says it should. well if anyone knows a fix for the double click problem please get back to me.

Did you try connecting the receiver to other USB ports and also, do you have the SetPoint software installed?

I have tried plugging it in to other ports other computers etc etc etc. Re installed drivers etc etc and tried every possible software solution before I posted on here. Why cant you guys just admit to the obvious that maybe my mouse is defective.. lol Cause it seems to me you get lots of problems with the MX Revolutions and other mice. I have never owned a mouse that had a faulty switch in it. I found some help elsewhere from a guy who said it was prob the micro switch. Sure enough I took my mouse apart bent the little spring in the switch and tada the mouse now left clicks without double clicking.

oh yeah and for 90 dollars I should get a replacement mouse whenever I want, just by walking over to any electronics store that sells logitech Message Edited by tonberryhunter on 10-30-2007 03:26 PM

This is what worked for my MX610 that was doing the same thing.

1. Take out the batteries.
2. Hold both left and right buttons down for at least 30 seconds.
3. Put the batteries back in.

Hi,

Besides palmrd, suggestion, adjusting the double click speed in mouse properties sometimes helps with this. On the other hand , if it turns out to be a hardware problem, your best bet would be to contact Customer Support and request a warranty replacement.
