MX700 Replacement NiMh Batteries

I have an old Logitech MX700 Mouse that is still working wonderfully but the rechargeable AA batteries have finally stopped holding their charge. I want to know what batteries I need to get to still use the mouse in its charger and still retain the rechargeable ability. In other words what can I use to replace the stock batteries? Thanks.

Re: MX700 Replacement NiMh Batteries

I have a mx900 and tried using Duracell rechargeable 2650 mah batteries and they lasted about one day.  Now my mx900 just sits on the charger blinking green for who knows how long, never reaching a full charge.  Am I using the wrong batteries??  I went to the link suggested above and it gave a range of 1500-2300 mah.  That's the only thing I can think of why the duracell batteries I have in my mx900 is not charging.  I do not want to throw my mx900 away so can someone please help me get it working again?  Thanks.

Is your mouse still covered under warranty?

Re: MX700 Replacement NiMh Batteries

I got it 3-4 years ago as a christmas gift.  I can not find any information in regards to the warranty length for the Mx900.

Re: MX700 Replacement NiMh Batteries

It comes with a 5 year warranty. I would suggest that you contact Logitech Technical Support to obtain further information regarding their replacement policies.
