g5 laser mouse left click problems

[ Edited ]

i'm having problems with the left click of my g5 (2007 edition)

i can click normally just fine. but i can't hold down the click button as it decides to think its been unpressed and will refuse to select anything, i tried blowing in it to get any dust/dirt off the button but it hasn't helped,

i don't have the original reciept but the store i purchased it from online still has a purchase history of it (07/07/2008) and a delivery date (12/07/2008)

and as i don't want to send this mouse back to the store to get them to get warranty i'm not sure what to do, any help would be great! thank you

nick

p.s i live in australia and all the warranty claim things say america, i'm wondering if its any different to claim warranty here

Hi,

Please contact your retailer for return instructions. Replacements for the Asia Pacific region are done via the retailer.

Thanks,
