Mice - MX Air All

Hello,
this is a question/wishlist more for Logitech devs itself than the users:
i'm eyeing this mouse as a future buy but i don't use nor plan to use any of windows media payer stuff or MCE software for that matter.

will setpoint be made to support universal windows commands directly to applications?(like winLIRC or uICE which can send special keys and commands directly to the app).

i use MPC or ZP to play my media and i certainly won't be buying a device which cannot be made to work with any media player/multimedia application out there and forces you to use a bloated software(WMP) which is everything but useful.
