Hi,
We're still working on a proper solution to this problem, especially for Vista systems. The wdf file solution usually works on XP systems but as relate2's experience has shown, its not a guaranteed working solution, just the most successful one we have so far.
P.S. I was actually unfortunate enough to experience this problem with my MX Revolution. Clean installin SetPoint initially didn't help, but strangely enough, trying it again a few weeks later makes the problem go away...

Tried the clean boot again, same result.
If a solution is found in the future could you please post a message about it here and I will get an automatic email directing me to this thread.
I have decided to keep the mouse but it is a pain not being able to adjust any of the default settings or use the gestures on the mouse. The gesture especially to centre the mouse is something that I would find very helpful as I continually need to push the mouse to the outside of the screen to centre it.
Hope to hear of a solution soon.
Robert

Hello,
I have the same problem (missing setting tabs in Setpoint 4.60) with XP-SP3 and MX620 Cordless laser mouse.
After reading several threads on this topic, I have tried:
- the wdf01000.sys thing. Well, actually, I couldn't: this file is missing
- a clean install.
- different USB ports.
Still no setting tabs. Hope I didn't miss THE solution somewhere in this forum (?)
Thank you for your help !

Well nearly 3 months since I first posted for a solution and I think nearly 12 months since this problem came to light.
I guess we are all out of luck, thanks Logitech for your excellent service...sarcastic comment there.

I've just bought MX Air and DiNovo Edge keyboard.
When I am installing setpoint 4.6 my windows xp is detecting new hardware (hid compilant mouse-keyboard touchpad, keyboard and mouse-mx air).
Unfortunately in the end I am receiving "fatal error" message. Hardware is working but I cannot see any tab in setpoint for the keyboard and the mouse.
Was there any step forward made in this case?
