Mine flashes 2 red lights randomly and the lazer does not work when this happens.

It is not a driver issue becuase to get it back to 3 soild blue lights(my profile) I slam it on the desk.

This is a hardware problem.

I read "slam it on the desk" and thought "what? are you kidding me?" but surprisingly enough, as my mouse sat next to me with two red flashing lights, i picked it up and gently slammed it down and voila- it works again!. Any chance we can get an official fix for this? Like.. a new generation of G9's that don't have this problem?

Same Problem Here, But much more serious, 80% OS reboot or USB replug G9 fail to work, red lights keep flashing. I have Vista 64bit and i m pretty sure i have the correct setpoint softwares installed. Mu G9 worked perfectly on the first day it arrived, but after a reboot.......i have to say i want my money back. No matter how good on its performence (when it is working), this problem is toooooo annoying, G9 is not worthy to buy.

PS. Before i realise what caused the problem and read this thread, it took me a day trying to sovle it, i re-installed my OS, bought an new keyboard (Thought G9 has conflict with EX110 keyboard combo), tested on my friends' PC etc, and eventually went back to my old G3.
