Hello,

I just re-installed my cordless MX 1000 cordless laser mouse after a long stretch of no use.  For some reason, double clicking to open files or icons does not work.  Also, when I try and click on the windows "start" button, the menu flashes quickly and then goes away.  I tried to change it to a "left" mouse configuration in the windows settings, ut the right button is producing the same results.  

I have this connected to a laptop using a synaptic touch pad.  I already re-installed those drivers, and am totally at a loss.  

Any ideas?

It looks like it's double clicking when I push the mouse button once.....

Hi,

Please try using the mouse with a different computer (if possible) to verify if it is a hardware problem. If the issue persists, please e-mail Customer Support to process a warranty replacement.
