Re: SetPoint 4.60 is available for download...

finally seem to have it working with 3.3, still gets a bit flaky form time to time but it's mostly stable.  I'm never letting logitech update my drivers again.

[ Edited ]

I have the MX5000 bluetooth desktop running on XP and since the update, I can't sync my mouse any more!  It won't work at all.  What else should I try besides just pressing the connect buttons, and what file should I use off that page of old drivers to get it to work again.

I knew I shouldn't have updated..."If it ain't broke..."

Edit:  Keyboard won't sync either.  Dammit Logitech!

Edit again:  Got it to work by disabling "bluetooth hub" fuctionality.

Well, I disagree. Your current drivers may be working well, but newer drivers are supposed to improve on them, fix little things, etc. There's absolutely no excuse for an update messing up everything to the point that in many cases (like mine) even rolling back to a previous release is impossible. I also have a Logitech webcam and also had serious problems with driver updates for it. I like Logitech products, but this type of thing (messy drivers) has been happening for years now, and if their programming team is unable to develop drivers which are safe to install and work well, then they should be replaced by more capable people - simple as that. I for one will think very carefully before buying anything by Logitech again.

Re: SetPoint 4.60 is available for download...

Well I'm back and I am sad to report that my issue form above is not corrected.  Worked last night but today the G5 changes sensitivity on it's own.  So I have it on the highest setting and it's good and then all of a sudden the mouse is slow and on a low dpi.  Click the dpi change buttons (which are responding svery slowly) and it gets quicj again even though I have now moved the lights to the lowest position....sigh.  Very frustrating to have something that was working fine, now broken and not hearing much back except for other customers with issues.  Would not the mod be watching the post for the newest driver release?

Re: SetPoint 4.60 is available for download...

Is there a way to use the keyboard options for the mouse? I would love to be able to use the custom menu from my keyboard settings with the document flip button and perhaps control the volume with my back/forward buttons...  If there is any way to do this can someone let me know? [Nacho_mail@yahoo.com]  Thanx

I really like setpoint for all the options available but this would make for an even more versatile system and be much more useful for me in particular.  : )

Yes, uberOptions should enable that.

Like so many others I can't get much help from Logitech.  I fixed it myself.  Bought a Microsoft Mouse and now have no issues what so ever.  Rest in Peace G5.
