Mice - Software

My receiver is directly plugged into my desktop. I have tried all 5 usb ports on the unit, as has been suggested elsewhere on this forum. I have SetPoint 3.30, LX 700 keyboard/mouse, Win XP (Core 2 Duo, brand new). Could you provide a set of steps to try to resolve the issue, as opposed to posting single suggestions? I think that may save us all time. I can't believe Logitech doesn't have a FAQ/KB article on this yet.

Hi Steve,

We do have a FAQ/KB on this issue. Please refer to this link. If it does not help, I would like you to test your LX700 keyboard/mouse on a different computer. This issue might be hardware related.

Mona: thanks for the pointer to the faq, which I've seen but it's only advice is to verify the driver version (mine is 3.30) and to reinstall. I will try on another computer this evening. I have another Desktop set MX1000/3000 maybe (can't remember which) at home that I'll try to bring in and test on this machine (which is at work). I've only had this keyboard for two years, shame if it's already broken.

Ok, I figured it out. For some reason I have two accounts.  The one with the private message and the one that did not have one. Sorry for the confusion.
